of print. The cover has a small tear and two bends. The pages are
in very good condition and complete.

Cutlers Cove owner said, "The 3rd Edition is the
first one that I purchased many years ago and I read it cover to
cover. I learned a lot about knives, sheaths, bowies, handles, and
much more from that copyright 1988 book. This one (1st Edition,
1973) is a lot like the later third edition with more on
collecting, knife care and custom knives. The complete series of
five books on knives in general is a great read, very informative and a must have
series of knife books." The first edition is
hard to find!
I think there where 7 different books with the
Digest Book name that in someway covered knives. There
where five on knives in general, one on knifemaking,
Gun Digest
Book of Knifemaking, and one on
folding knives. If you know of any more please let me know.
