SOG Specialty Knives Tigershark (early production, mid to late 1980's ?) It is mint in the box. 14" overall with 9 inch satin finish blade with etched: SOG Specialty Knives S. M. CA. also etched: Seki Japan. The blade is thick starting out at 1/4". The handle is black Kraton rubber material. The sheath is the original black leather with several very small rubbed places making it near mint. Box is a little shop worn but complete. This one is not partially serrated and does not have the powder coated blade like the current model. It is an early one and a big knife! The current model is called Tigershark 2. This versatile field knife dominates on land or sea. The larger version of the SEAL Knife, it has a massive 9" bowie-style blade. This striking knife is razor-sharp and strong, so it easily takes on big or small cutting, slicing and chopping chores. The Tigershark's contoured Kraton handle features aggressively textured scales for a solid and comfortable grip.
