R. H. Ruana Bowie made in 1976 by Ruana. It is about 15" overall, 5/16" thick, and has David Crockett's half horse/alligator insignia carved on one side of the pommel. It has been professionally cleaned and sharpened and is in near mint condition. The man I purchased this from said his father had Ruana make it for him as he did a lot of the mountain man reenactment in Montana for the USA Bicentennial in 1976. Model 32B David Crockett Bowie which is still in the line today at $450.00, and made by the grandson or the son in law, not sure which one. This one was made by Ruana himself.
