Kershaw Model 1029TF mint in the box with
original quality black leather sheath. It is called the Field and Stream on the box
and is 8-1/4" overall. The blade is made of AUS8A
stainless steel. The handle is a black co-polymer called Task Force (TF). It is
a one of the first Kershaw's because of the solid black box with
original signage on the box. This means it came out around 1974. It is
marked on the front tang Kershaw Oregon USA and on the back 1029TF
Japan.
Do not confuse this model with the current Kershaw 1029 Bear Hunter. This knife came out about 30 years ago when Pete Kershaw ran the company. Remember this one was made in Japan and is Japanese quality!
