David Boye Basic 3 drop point in mint condition. It is 7-3/4" overall and marked on the front Boye Basic 3 and on the back BDS. The sheath is black nylon with brass liner and horizontal or vertical carry loops. There are very light rubbed marks from going into the sheath on the blade areas of the knife. You must hold the blade in the light just right to even see them. Really very minor. This is an early model of the investment cast dendritic steel knife that he developed in 1981 and not the current design.

Great for the ocean environment, designed for maximum versatility, strength, and compactness. 1/4" thickness and
1-3/8" blade depth. Integral construction for lightness and strength. The kind of every day object that belongs in the Museum of Modern Art.
