Larry A. Peterson upsweep skinner with polished Mule deer crown antler handle. It is new with his custom made leather sheath and is 9-5/8" overall and marked on the front L.A. Peterson Ephraim, Utah. The 5" blade is polished 440C stainless steel professionally heat treated to 58-60 Rockwell that is bathed in liquid nitrogen to improve the steel. The handle has several spacers to finish out the good looking knife handle with a finger grove and soldered nickel silver guard. Larry started making knives out of files and car leaf sprigs at age 14. His mentors were Mr. William Partington, "Junior High School Teacher" and Blair Snow, who was his Uncle. Unfortunately both of these men are long gone and Mr. Peterson is in his late 60's and still making knives in Utah, USA.
